Independent Food Aid Network

IFAN is the UK's network of independent food aid providers. IFAN and Right to Food Barnet has co-produced a leaflet along with other local stakeholders called 'Worrying About Money?'. This resource promotes a Cash First solution to the Right To Food.

 

Their vision is of a country without the need for charitable food aid where adequate and nutritious food is affordable to all.

René Cassin

René Cassin promotes the Right To Food and has been focusing work in Barnet including collaborating with Right To Food Barnet in local campaigning. They are working on a number of projects including the publication earlier this year of their resource 'Voices Beyond the Foodbank'.

The Global Network for the Right to Food and Nutrition is an initiative of public interest CSOs and social movements that recognise the need to act jointly for the realization of the right to adequate food and nutrition.

The Landworkers’ Alliance is a union of farmers, growers, foresters and land-based workers. Their mission is to improve the livelihoods of their members and create a better food and land-use system for everyone.

Right To Food UK - Parliamentary Campaign

Ian Byrne MP is leading on The Right To Food Campaign in Parliament to make access to food a legal right for all. Working with a range of local and national organisations and community campaigners, his objective is to have the “Right to Food” enshrined in law.
