Worrying About Money?

We have collaborated with local partners and The Independent Food Aid Network (IFAN) to co-design 

a 'Worrying About Money?' cash first referral leaflet, as a straightforward step-by-step guide for people facing money worries and support workers in Barnet. 

​

The aim of the project is to reduce the need for charitable food aid by helping people access any existing financial entitlements and advice on income maximisation as a cash first approach to food insecurity.

 

Barnet's leaflet was published in 2023 for distibution across the borough and is also available as an interactive online tool linked below.

As well as the leaflet, IFAN have created an interactive version which takes you through each step online. There is also a PDF version of the leaflet available for download.
